|   Country Club Court - 1996-2001: Mr. Daves was developer and 		majority owner of a development of 22 acres of land located on the 		east side of Wichita, Kansas.  Country Club Court has been 			developed into 42 upscale patio homes, with an estimated project cost 		over $10,000,000.   Foliage Development – 1991-1996:  Mr. Daves purchased the Foliage Development, a residential project in east Wichita, Kansas.  The 			Foliage had been a stagnant project since it came on the market in 1980.  From 1980 to 1991 only 12 lots had been sold.  Mr. Daves 			purchased the remaining 25 residential lots, plus 11 acres, which was 		developed into a site for 12 patio home lots, and one large residential 		lot.  A new entry road, gates and gatehouse were added to improve the 		development.  All lots were sold in record time.   Pioneer Balloon Company's World Headquarters – 1993-1995:
            Pioneer Balloon Company's World Headquarters, was designed by 		Kevin Daves on a site in Wichita, Kansas selected and developed by 		Mr. Daves.  The completed building is approximately 75,000 square 		feet. back to top   The Green's – 1988-1991: Mr. Daves bought the remaining 19 lots in 		a patio home development in east Wichita, Kansas named The 			Green's. The previous developer had sold 2 lots in the last 5 years.  		Mr. Daves and his development group were able to remarket the 			project and offer new plans and a different approach to building a patio 		home. By 1991, all lots had been sold   Inn at the Park – 1988-1989:  Mr. Daves was the architect and co-owner of one of Wichita's finest bed and breakfast hotels, Inn at the Park, located at 3751 E. Douglas.  The Inn had twelve suites, ten suites in the house and two additional suites in the carriage house, with each suite decorated uniquely.  Inn at the Park opened in May of 1989. In 1990 the Inn at the Park was named one of the top ten new inns in the country by Inn Review a national publication.  For the last several years before its sale, the Inn at the Park was one of less than twenty inns in the nation to receive an outstanding rating from the American Bed and Breakfast Association.   Kensington Square – 1983-1984: Kensington Square was built in 			1923 and is located in the heart of downtown Wichita, Kansas.  Like 		its English namesake, it is the epitome of charm and stately grace.  The 		five-story structure was originally built as a hotel.  It now has 36,000 		rentable square feet and consists of retail space on the first floor and 		office space on floors two through five.  Mr. Daves was hired as the 		architect for this building and designed all the present tenant spaces.  		Renovation cost was almost $3,000,000. back to top |
